(’98 BA, Economics) ran a randomized experiment in hundreds of classrooms in multiple cities that paid 18,000 children a total of $6.3 million for good grades. He and a team of researchers then analyzed the effects and shared the results exclusively with Time magazine. He is an economics professor at Harvard University.
