Graduate Teaching Assistantships
All applicants accepted into the program as full-time students are eligible for a graduate assistantship which grants up to six years of 100% tuition and fee coverage, health insurance, and a nine-month stipend.
Scholarships
The UTA Scholarships Office does not offer scholarships for incoming graduate students, but students may find graduate scholarships available at the university by Mav ScholarShop. You can also learn more about scholarship opportunities by visiting the Outside Scholarships page.
Other Ways to Fund Your College Education
Graduate students are eligible for federal loans and can borrow up to $20,500 each year in Direct Unsubsidized Loans.Graduate students may also apply for Direct PLUS Loans, which they can use for remaining costs not covered by other financial aid. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA to see if they qualify for federal loans. Banks and credit unions offer private student loans, for which students may apply directly with the lender.

UTA offers a graduate certificate in Archival Administration for those wishing to boost their professional skills. The coursework involves the application of historical knowledge and methodology in non-academic settings such as archives, museums, and preservation societies.
