337 Undergraduates Earn Fall Dean's List Honors

Fifty-six undergraduate engineering students earned perfect 4.0 grade-point averages and 337 were named to the dean’s list for the recently completed fall semester.

The Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Departments, the College’s largest, had 136 and 80 students, respectively, named to the list. Twenty-eight students in CSE and 12 in MAE earned perfect GPAs.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must major in one of the COE undergraduate programs, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 and have at least 45 cumulative credit hours, of which at least 24 (letter-graded) were earned at UTA.

UTA's College of Engineering is the fourth-largest in Texas and its seven departments, six of which offer undergraduate programs, boast the most comprehensive offerings in North Texas. The College awards bachelor’s degrees in 11 areas. More than 5,000 of the College’s 7,636 students are undergraduates.

The College also offers graduate degrees in 14 master’s and nine doctoral areas of focus.
