463 Undergraduates Earn Spring Dean's List Honors

Despite courses being disrupted midway through the spring semester, 463 undergraduate engineering students were named to the dean’s list for the recently completed spring semester, and 107 earned perfect 4.0 grade-point averages.

The Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Departments, the College’s largest, had 182 and 109 students, respectively, named to the list. Forty-six students in CSE earned perfect GPAs.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must major in one of the COE undergraduate programs, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 and have at least 45 cumulative credit hours, of which at least 24 (letter-graded) were earned at UTA.

UTA's College of Engineering is the fourth-largest in Texas and its seven departments, six of which offer undergraduate programs, boast the most comprehensive offerings in North Texas. The College awards bachelor’s degrees in 11 areas. More than 5,000 of the College’s 7,636 students are undergraduates.
