BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice

She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice and serving as an intern with Tarrant County Juvenile Services.

Assigned to Court Intake, Sabrie assists probation officers with their cases, attend court hearings, shadow home/school visits, and observe other units in the department.

“I've gained a broader aspect of what goes into juvenile probation, and how all the divisions work together to try and rehabilitate kids to set them up for success” Sabrie explains. “I got to observe mediations between parents and kids. I did a ride out with the field probation team in Hurst and did home/school visits. I gained a lot of knowledge from the people I’ve met. And everyone I've met in the court intake team have been nothing but kind and welcoming!”

Following Spring 2026 graduation, Sabrie plans to pursue a career as a juvenile probation officer.
