We are here for you in these troubling times and will remain available to you as a resource while we watch what is happening in our nation and around the world. Wayne Watts Scholarship For Aspiring Lawyers 2020 Application Coming Soon!
This scholarship is made possible by generous contributions from former AT&T General Counsel and prominent UTA alumnus D. Wayne Watts. This scholarship is designed to provide a full tuition scholarship to students nearing the end of their undergraduate career at UTA who are looking to attend law school and become practicing attorneys. Sophomore, Junior and Senior undergraduate students are welcome to apply. Students who will have only one semester remaining before receiving their undergraduate degree will have the scholarship applied to their final semester only. Students must be able to demonstrate satisfactory academic performance in order to apply for this scholarship. A minimum of 3.0 GPA and a practice LSAT score is required to apply for this opportunity. For questions about how to get a practice LSAT exam, contact the Pre- Law Center at prelaw@uta.edu.

2020 LSAC Forums
LSAC’s Going Virtual!
For the Fall 2020 Admissions cycle, LSAC will host its Forums digitally so that any and all students can have access to critical resources and information.
Why attend?
This is the nation’s largest law school fair and ALL law schools will be participating! This is your opportunity to hear from admissions and recruiters at your dream schools. LSAC will host a workshop for students preparing to take the LSAT where you will have the opportunity to hear directly from the test writers on how to excel on various aspects of the test. You’ll also have the chance to participate in personal statement workshops and much more!

Looking for free LSAT Prep? Texas Appleseed and Kaplan Test Prep are sponsoring a full tuition LSAT Prep Course in preparation for the November LSAT. This program is designed to make law school accessible by to all qualified students by helping low income students and students of color by covering the full cost of a Kaplan LSAT prep course thereby expanding their law school opportunities.

ICYMI: August LSAT Updates & Even More LSAT Flex FAQs
Digital LSAT®: The August LSAT will also be replaced by LSAT-flex administrations with shorter, three sections only (Saturday, August 29-Monday, August 31). Registration for the August LSAT closed on July 15.
LSAT Writing: The LSAT Writing will be opened eight (8) days prior to every test administration allowing candidates to complete this portion at a time and date that is most convenient to them.
Scores will not be released until a candidate has completed writing samples in their file.
Score Preview: For first-time test takers only, students can pay to see their LSAT score and decide to keep it or cancel it from their LSAC transcript.
This new feature will cost students $45 before the test date and $75 on or after their test date.Students have six (6) calendar days from the day they receive their score to decide if they want to cancel or keep it.
Cancelled scores will be reflected as “Candidate Cancel” on student’s LSAT transcripts.
This feature will be available for purchase starting around August 1 for the August 2020 test administration and all subsequent test administrations.
LSAT Flex General FAQs:
It looks like LSAT Flex might be here to stay for the near future. Those of you who are adventurous and wanting to jump on this shortened 2-hour LSAT should consider registering for July and September. If you’re still on the fence, check out LSAC’s published Top 10 FAQs About LSAT Flex.
