Faheem Ohri

Faheem Ohri, BSN, RN, MSW, and a Ph.D. student at The University of Texas at Arlington. His background is in Nursing and after graduating with his BSN in 2016, he started working in the Surgical-Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Where he discovered that he is destined to do more and recognized his desire to join social work. He graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with his MSW degree in 2021. Faheem has worked at the forensics unit for Utah State to develop competence in mentally challenged incarcerated individuals; with people in poverty, homeless, with mental health disorders, and substance use at Development Counseling Services (DCS); with youth from eight to eighteen years of age having a history of trauma, substance use, suicidal behaviors, trouble with the law and mental health disorders at Provo Canyon School (PCS). After gaining experience with individual, family, and group psychotherapy, Faheem decided to get a Ph.D. He has been working with different professors as a graduate research assistant and looking forward to contributing to society.
