3d printing

Fab Lab: 3D Printing 101

Grades (9-12) - Unleash your inner artist when you create a sculpture using 3-D modeling software and a 3-D printer. Campers will learn about 3-D printing, constructing functional and sturdy creations from multiple materials, and using 3-D rendering software as they construct their own design.

Quantum STEM camps

Grades (9-12) - This is an offsite program hosted by a UTA professor, partnering with Arlington ISD. Camps are part of a NSF grant, which includes a research study titled, “Quantum for All Students”.

Anime

Anime/Manga
July Session

Grades (9-12) - Campers learn how to creatively illustrate and produce their own works of fiction as they explore the depth of the “anime” art-style. Campers will learn about animation, artistic idiosyncrasies, and the many ways the Japanese culture and language has shaped this artistic genre. Campers will produce either an animated work, or comic, using this culturally explorative art style.

Grades (9-12) - Our year-round programs are committed to extending broad educational support to youth historically underrepresented and economically disadvantaged to advance their achievement in higher education.

Welch

Welch Summer Scholar Program

Grades (9-12) - The Welch Summer Scholar Program, a hands-on summertime experience, is designed to give high school students a chance to learn more about research and to explore the many opportunities available to them. The five-week program immerses students, typically between their junior and senior years of high school, in the intellectual atmosphere of working with practicing academic chemists in and out of their labs.

Principles of Engineering

Grades (9-12) - Have you ever wondered how buildings are constructed or how machines that create those buildings work? Learn the techniques that electrical, mechanical, chemical and civil engineers use to create bridges, buildings and even submarines. Explore conceptual engineering which is the process of translating customer needs to design features and measurable performance parameters.

Grades (8-12) - For teens thinking about a career in medicine, this camp offers a valuable experience. Campers will study different body systems, learn how different medical specialties relate to each other, wellness techniques and nutrition, and how to test vital signs. At the end of the camp, campers will also earn CPR certification.

Choir Camp

All-State Choir Camp

Grades (9-12) - The camp helps singers in grades 9-12 in their journey to the Texas All-State Choir and is a wonderful place to make new friends and experience the joy of making music together. This camp is appropriate for all choir students in 1A-6A Texas high schools; however, it will focus solely on the music for the "Large School" Texas All-State Chorus.

UTA Summer Concert Band Camp

Grades (7-12) - The UTA Summer Music Camps strive to provide each student an opportunity to work with and learn from the highest quality instructional staff from around the nation. A fun and enriching curriculum of full band rehearsals, instrumental lessons, master classes, sectionals, and electives, students will participate in one of three bands based on an audition and perform a final Gala Concert.

UTA Summer Marching Band Camp

Grades (9-12) - The UTA drum major, leadership and colorguard camp is designed to strengthen the abilities of beginner, intermediate, and advanced students, while providing a variety of experiences in fundamentals, leadership, and performance. Colorguard students in middle school will also be accepted.

Grades (6-12) - The UTA Summer Strings Camp strives to provide each student with an opportunity to work with and learn from the highest quality instructional faculty from around the state of Texas. It is our desire that each student grow musically and personally while at the same time enjoy all the fun and excitement of summer camp life.

Instamazing: Urban Photography

Grades (9-12) - Step into the creative realm of Digital Photography utilizing the city of Fort Worth as your backdrop. Campers will learn basic techniques of producing engaging photos and the trade of creating fanstatic photos on any mobile device.

Speech & Debate Bootcamp (Grades 9-12)

Grades (9-12) - Master the art of public speaking by learning to communicate effectively and persuasively. This camp will highlight the importance of communication skills while focusing on the basics of public speaking and various debate formats.

Movin’ Mavs Co-Ed Camp

Grades (6-12) - Camp curriculum is designed to meet the needs of athletes at all levels, from beginning athletes to more experienced athletes working to make USA national teams. Campers are grouped by age and ability level for daily training.

UCA

UCA Cheer Camp

Grades (4-12) - UTA Spirit Groups hosts summer spirit camps in conjunction with the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA). UCA camp is where team bonds are formed and memories are made. Your team has the option to stay on campus, or commute daily.

Baseball Camp

UTA Baseball Camp

Grades (6-12) - The camp will cover Infield play, Throwing, Base running, Outfield Play, Hitting and Pitching. In addition to skill and drill stations, the campers will also have the opportunity to play games, which will emphasize the skills taught earlier in camp. This fun environment provides opportunities to improve game speed skills and practice game situations.

Softball

UTA Softball Camp

Grades (6-12) - UTA Softball Camp will focus on developing the skills & fundamentals of the game of softball. Campers will work with the UTA coaching staff and current UTA student athletes on position-specific work (including pitching & catching) and offensive drills. In addition, campers will have the opportunity to display their skills & learn through game-like situations.

Volleyball Camp

UTA Volleyball Camp

Grades (3-12) - UTA Volleyball Camps are a great opportunity for all players to enhance their skills on the court. Whether a player is just learning the game or is a seasoned veteran looking to polish their skills with the expertise of our elite coaches, UTA Volleyball Camps are the perfect fit. Camp instructors will consist of the UTA volleyball coaching staff as well as current and former UTA players.
