International students

In response to new federal guidance regarding the immigration status of international students, UTA is working to ensure a fair and effective educational environment, The Dallas Morning News and FOX 4 reported. Erin Carlson, UTA associate clinical professor and director of graduate public health programs in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation, said that while COVID-related deaths are down, “that doesn’t mean we’re seeing a reduction in the number of people whose lives are forever changed by this virus,” the Dallas Observer reported. Carlson encourages everyone to take the disease seriously.
