MavMover Shuttle Bus

UTA offers several mobility solutions to help get you around campus.  The mobility solutions complement the parking options through connection hubs, dedicated stops, off-campus routes, and on-demand pickups.

Got a class way across campus? Just want to put your feet up and enjoy a scenic tour of lovely UTA? Parking and Transportation Services operates a free campus shuttle bus system for all UTA students, faculty, staff, and guests. Routes and hours of operation may be altered to meet changing University needs. Encourage Your Apartment Complex to Participate!

Is your apartment complex or favorite business not being serviced by the Mav Mover or Late Night Security Escort Service? The Parking & Transportation team is always looking for locations to expand the services into!  Speak to the property manager or business owner and let them know you would like these services. Chances are-- other students do too!  Share our contact information with them (parking@uta.edu or 817-272-3907) to receive more information about sponsoring a stop.

Operations during Academic Breaks (Christmas/New Years, Spring Break, Summer Break):

Extended Red Route: Operates 7:30 AM - 6:00 P.M. Monday-Friday

On the MavMover "On-Demand" app that is used to operate the Late Night Escort. 

Green Shopping Route: Operates 5:30 P.M.-9:30 P.M. Monday-Friday

Departs UTA every :00 and :30 and departs Walmart every :15 and :45 minutes.

Orange Route: Operates 7:30 AM-6:00 P.M. Monday-Friday

Lot 27/Studio Arts, Lot 26/Maverick Stadium, Maverick Place, 848 Mitchell, Centennial Court, Pickard Hall, College of Business, Smart Hospital, Greek Row (Arbor Oaks/Meadow Run)

Blue Route: Operates 7:30 AM-6:00 P.M. Monday-Friday

University Center, MAC, Greek Row (Arbor Oaks/Meadow Run), Meadow Run, Swift Center, Timber Brook, The Arlie

Black Route: Operates 7:30 AM-6:00 P.M. Monday-Friday

Lot 53, Lot 52, Lot 50, Heights on Pecan, College of Business

Yellow Route: Operates 7:30 AM-6:00 P.M. Monday-Friday

Liv+, Mesquite/1st Street*, University Center, Arlington Hall/CPC, College of Business

Red Route: Operates 6:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. Monday-Friday

Green Route: Operates 6:30 P.M.-10:30 P.M. Monday-Friday

A transfer hub at the University Center connects multiple routes. Building; Greek Row (Arbor Oaks/Meadow Run). Black Route: Lot 53; Lot 52; Lot 50; Heights on Pecan; College of Business. Yellow Route: LIV+; Mesquite & 1st Street (new stop); University Center; Arlington Hall/CPC; College of Business. A "Track the Bus" section includes a QR code for real-time GPS arrival times and an illustration of a UTA Maverick shuttle bus. The bottom of the poster promotes discounted Via rides. Students can request a promo code for $1 off rides to Parks Mall, Ben Thanh Plaza, Fielder Plaza, Target, and The Highlands. Red Route: Operates 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Stops include University Center, The Arlie, Timber Brook, MAC, Greek Row (Arbor Oaks/Meadow Run), Studio Arts, Maverick Stadium, Intramural Fields, Maverick Place, Centennial Court, Lot 53, Lot 52, Lot 50, Heights on Pecan, LIV+, College of Business, and College Park District. Green Route (Shopping): Operates 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. between University Center and Walmart. Shuttles depart the University Center every :00 and :30 and depart Walmart every :15 and :45. A "Track the Bus" section includes a QR code for real-time GPS bus arrival times and an illustration of a UTA Maverick shuttle bus. The poster also promotes the Late-Night Courtesy Escort (SafeRide) service for late-night travel across campus and select off-campus locations. Riders can request a SafeRide from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., seven days a week. A second QR code is provided for the SafeRide service, along with an illustration of a Maverick shuttle van.
