The maps below are available for reference to illustrate where each permit is valid during peak parking times.  Parking rules begin to relax at 5 p.m. on weekdays and during weekends. STUDENT COMMUTER PARKING (PDF)

Zone restrictions are anticipated to be relaxed on or before September 21, 2026.

This map illustrates the University of Texas at Arlington's 2026–2027 Student Commuter Zones for off-campus student parking permits. Three color-coded commuter zones are shown: West Commuter (brown overlay covering the west-central portion of campus), East Commuter (purple overlay covering the northeast side of campus), and South Commuter (orange overlay covering the southeast side of campus). Permit holders must park within their assigned commuter zone between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. From 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., permit holders may park in any student commuter lot. The map also identifies campus buildings, parking garages and surface lots, shuttle stops, EV charging stations, accessible parking, motorcycle parking, reduced-rate parking, remote Park & Ride locations, and construction zones.
