WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED
If you're looking for a covered spot on campus, consider either the Maverick Parking Garage or West Campus Parking Garage. Both locations are some of the closest visitor parking available on campus and they put you right in the heart of Maverick Country.
Payment in these garages are required 24/7, but reduced rates start during non-peak times.
Once you park in the visitor section, note your license plate (usually with a photo on your phone) and visit one of the pay stations on the lower level near the elevators. Follow the on-screen prompts to pay to park for your desired stay duration. You will pay for the time you anticipate parking. There is no reason to return to your car. The parking session is tied to your license plate.
Not sure how long you will stay? Use the MobileNow! app so you can add more time to your parking session before it expires.
HOURS OF OPERATION
24/7. Payment required at all times.
Parking in the garage is $3.75 per hour or a daily maximum of $11, which can be paid at the meters on the lower level next to the elevators or through the Mobile-NOW smartphone app. We have reserved third and fourth floors of the Maverick Garage and 1st-floor south side of the West Camus garage for hourly guests. For a more long-term semester or annual parking solution, we have Preferred and Reserved permits available.
Hourly customers can currently use the MobileNOW! app on a smartphone with the location code 3708 (Maverick Parking Garage Code) to park in the garage. The MobileNOW! app is free to download. When using the app to park, a $0.35 convenience fee is added each time at checkout. This permit method allows customers to park on the third and fourth floors of the garage.
We have two digital multimeters located on the first floor of the garage next to the elevator. To use the multimeter you need to know both how long your car will be parked in the garage and what your license plate number is on the car that is parked. This permit method allows customers to park on the third and fourth floors of the garage.
Preferred Parking Permit
One of two long-term parking solutions at the Maverick Parking Garage, the Preferred parking permit allows customers to park on the second floor. Holders of this permit do not necessarily have a space reserved for them, but an area that is exclusively available to Preferred Permit holders only. Preferred parking permits can be purchased online at www.uta.edu/parking for $554 a semester.
Reserved Parking Permit
This is the other available option for a long-term parking solution at the Maverick Parking Garage. The Reserved parking permit allows customers to park on the first floor of the garage. Each Reserved parking permit holder is assigned a parking space that is exclusive to them. Reserved parking permits need to be purchased in the parking office for $782 a semester.
