Not every child gets to experience a field trip.
While Texas K-12 school districts are experiencing budget cuts, many kids need your help.
Lack of funding in the public school system has forced some schools to cut their extra-curricular activities, such as field trips. The UTA Planetarium started a funding program to cover the cost of student admissions in 2021 with funding provided by corporate sponsors. The demand for the program has quickly increased. Last year, all provided funding was used in the first month it was received.

Last year, the funding covered Planetarium admission for 1,398 students.
