History

Our first MBA program started in 2000, introducing the cohort model that’s been a hallmark at UTA Fort Worth ever since. Early classes were taught at the UTA Research Institute in East Fort Worth, and we soon found our permanent home downtown. Built in 1938, the historic Santa Fe Freight Depot and former Fort Worth Rail Market offered the perfect blend of old and new. We opened our doors in 2007 after extensive renovations.

With more than 25,000 square feet of classroom, services and amenity space, our unique space was built with sustainable features and green initiatives in mind. We’re dedicated to education and preserving our environment for future generations. Located just steps away from public transportation, UTA Fort Worth maintains a full-service recycling center for students, faculty, and staff.
