Social Work

The nationally-ranked UTA School of Social Work offers Bachelor of Social Work courses in downtown Fort Worth. Fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, the BSW degree was designed to prepare students for a generalist social work practice.

BSW classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 3:50 pm

The RN-BSN program is designed for the practicing registered nurse who wishes to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Credit is given for courses listed in the FOSC (Coordinating Board Field of Study Curriculum) guidelines. Up to 28 hours credit may be applicable for transfer from ADN or Diploma programs.

Students enrolling full-time in the classroom option can complete the nursing courses in two semesters meeting all day one day per week.

While Executive MBA programs most commonly meet on Friday and Saturday, The UTA Executive MBA has transitioned to a true weekend program that is optimized for the working professional student.

MBA Cohort

Designed specifically for working professionals, the MBA Professional Cohort program, also called the Cohort MBA, allows you the ability to earn your degree in only 15 months. Part of UTA’s renowned College of Business, UTA Fort Worth offers the MBA Professional Cohort as a convenient, close-to-home educational option for Fort Worth and Tarrant County professionals.

With only 36 required classroom hours, courses are divided into consecutive and accelerated 5 and 10-week sessions, allowing you to focus on one subject at a time while still receiving 9 credits each semester.
