DEGREE OVERVIEW

The BS in Sociology is designed to provide students skills in understanding data management and analysis of social behavior, human culture, and social institutions. The program prepares students with qualitative and quantitate research skills to be used in applied careers.


ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The BS in Applied Sociology offers students training for the growing number of data analysis, market research, and human relations careers in the for-profit, public/government, and non-profit sectors. Students learn both quantitative and qualitative research methods, how to apply those methods to understand the social world, and how to communicate their research findings to employers.
