Our Master of Science in Chemistry program offers three degree pathways—thesis, thesis substitute, and non-thesis—designed to support both research- focused students and working professionals. Coursework spans analytical, biochemistry, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, with options to incorporate interdisciplinary study in science and engineering.
A research-intensive environment connects students with faculty leading active, cross-disciplinary research programs. By participating in thesis work or applied research projects, graduate students have the opportunity to engage in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication.

Makerspaces Across Campus
UTA’s Central Library FabLab boasts 8,000 square feet of makerspace featuring 3D printers, laser cutters, screen printers, kilns, sewing machines, and much more for learners from any discipline or experience level. The FabLab is taking the lead in ensuring students gain highly sought transdisciplinary skills.
