Meet Your Advisor - Linda Letherwood
Linda Letherwood has been at UTA for five years as an Undergraduate Academic Advisor to Accounting, Economics and International Business majors. The most rewarding part of her job is encouraging students to make the most of their experience at UTA and helping them plan for their future. Outside of work, she loves to travel with her husband, going to hear live music, gardening, and spending time with her cats. Linda's a big fan of the UTA Business Cats.

Favorite lunch spot?
Anywhere I can walk to! I don't want to lose my parking spot at lunchtime.
Favorite book, movie or TV show?
It's hard to pick just one! Some of my favorite movies are Forrest Gump and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. For books, I'd choose The Giving Game, written by my childhood bestie, which makes it especially meaningful to me.

If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be and why?
I would love to learn multiple languages. I'd also like to learn to play a musical instrument. Both skills challenge your brain and create opportunities to connect with people in new ways.
What is one piece of advice you wish every student could hear?
Earn your A's early and often! It's much easier to maintain a strong GPA than it is to raise one later, so take advantage of every opportunity to do your best from the very beginning.
