DROP-IN ADVISING

Undergraduate Business Advisors will offer drop-in advising (in person and virtual) from August 10, 2026, through September 1, 2026 to assist students with Fall 2026 registration.

Office Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Lunch Closure: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Important Information

Due to high demand, advising queues often reach capacity before the office closes for the day. As a result, the virtual and in-person walk-in queues may close before 5:00 p.m. to allow advisors sufficient time to assist all students already in line. We encourage you to arrive as early in the day as possible to increase your chances of being seen.

In-Person Drop-In Advising

No appointment is required for in-person advising between August 10 and September 1.

  • The in-person advising request form will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..

  • Students must be physically present to sign in for in-person advising.

  • The last student accepted each day will depend on the number of students waiting and the estimated time needed to assist everyone already in the queue.

  • Once daily capacity has been reached, no additional students can be added to the queue.

Virtual Drop-In Advising

The virtual advising request form will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., August 10 through September 1.

Please note: The form will not accept submissions during the lunch closure (12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.).

After submitting the form:

  1. Your request will be assigned to the first available advisor. Response times vary based on the number of students currently waiting.

  2. If you request a phone call, please be available when the advisor contacts you. If you are unavailable, the advisor will send a response to your MyMav email.

  3. If you request an email response, your advisor will send information to your MyMav email. Please review the message carefully and respond promptly if additional information or action is needed.
