Meet Your Advisor – Jasmine Coker
The UTA College of Business will showcase each business advisor as they share fun personal facts about themselves. Jasmine Coker has been at UTA for 7.5 years and is an Academic Advisor that manages the degree plans and graduation audits.

What do you love most about being a college advisor?
Seeing our students walk across the stage knowing they have pushed through hard times and worked so hard to accomplish their goals.
What are your favorite hobbies outside of work?
Love to paint!
What was your favorite vacation?
I went to Colorado for a week, and it was my favorite because it was the longest time my husband and I were able to spend time together and was my first-time walking on mountains.

What is something people are shocked to learn about you?
I’m a Dragon Ball Z fan!
What is something you want to do in the next year that you’ve never done before?
I want to travel outside the country.

What is the best advice you have heard?
Life is too short so enjoy it with someone who believes that you are the best when you are at your worst moments.
