Professional Development Certificate Program

Candidates for executive positions are encouraged to earn the executive development certificate by completing 4-7 courses in two or more areas.
The Graduate Advanced Studies Certificate Program offered by the College of Business is a business post-master's level non-degree program of study designed to meet the changing educational needs of managers, entrepreneurs, or executives. This is an excellent way to update an MBA or other graduate-level business degree, and to prepare for future management or executive-level positions. Candidates for this certificate program may register for a wide variety of excellent courses conveniently offered on weekday evenings and/or Saturdays. While some candidates may complete their courses in as little as two semesters, others may spread their courses over a 3-year maximum time period.

This broad array of classes is designed to sharpen the candidate's strategic awareness in their industry of choice. Managers or functional specialists completing 4-7 courses in one area of study may be awarded a professional development certificate for that area.

Advanced studies are available in the following areas:
  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Human Resources
  • Finance
  • Health Care Administration
  • Information Systems
  • International Business
  • Management
