Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics
The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is designed to enable students to acquire critical data science and analytics skills and apply these to solve traditional and new problems in their respective domains without having to enroll in a full Masters degree program.Participants complete a total of 15 graduate credit hours comprised of four required courses and one elective course.

- INSY 5339 - Principles of Business Data Mining
- INSY 5377 - Web and Social Analytics

Course credit earned through the certificate may be used to meet course requirements for the MS Business Analytics if the student is accepted into the MSBA program. All courses must be completed at UTA and prerequisites may be required.

Graduate Advanced Studies Certificate Program
The Graduate Advanced Studies (Professional Development) Certificate Program, offered by the College of Business, is a flexible post-baccalaureate, non-degree program designed to help managers, entrepreneurs, and other professionals enhance their business knowledge and advance their careers.
Participants may choose from a wide range of high-quality graduate business courses offered in convenient online and in-person formats. The program is designed to accommodate diverse professional and personal schedules, allowing students to complete their coursework in as little as two semesters or over a maximum period of three years.
Through a broad selection of courses across multiple business disciplines, participants can strengthen their strategic perspective, expand their professional expertise, and develop skills relevant to their career goals. Individuals who successfully complete 4–7 courses across any combination of business disciplines may be awarded a Professional Development Certificate in Business.

The Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development is designed to provide qualified real estate professionals advanced instruction in real estate development.The Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development is designed for professionals seeking to expand their expertise in the planning, analysis, financing, and execution of real estate projects. Whether transitioning into real estate development, advancing within the industry, or pursuing educational requirements for professional licensure, students gain practical knowledge that can be immediately applied in the field.
Through a focused 15-hour curriculum, participants develop skills in real estate analysis, development, investment, finance, and appraisal while gaining an understanding of zoning, entitlement processes, market analysis, and the collaborative roles of consultants, lenders, contractors, and public agencies. The certificate provides a streamlined pathway for career advancement and can also serve as a stepping stone toward UTA's Master of Science in Real Estate program, with eligible coursework applicable toward the degree.

Graduate Certificate in Taxation
The Tax Certificate program is designed to serve degreed professionals who wish to update or add to their knowledge of taxation.The Tax Certificate program serves degreed professionals who wish to update or add to their knowledge of taxation. Participants complete four graduate level taxation courses of their choosing.

All courses are offered in the evenings (typically two in the Fall, two in the Spring, and two in the Summer) and four courses can be completed in a year or less. Participants receive a certificate upon satisfactory completion of the program.

Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship has been cited as the primary driver of economic growth in the United States and abroad.After completion of three courses, you’ll have the skills to identify innovations and market opportunities, write a business plan, obtain funding and launch your own company.
With UT Arlington’s customizable cross-college entrepreneurship certificate program, you’ll learn the business acumen needed to launch a start-up company of your own. Students enrolled in this certificate program begin by completing a MANA 5339 – Entrepreneurship course followed by two additional courses from across campus, based on your interests—including art, engineering, business and urban planning.
Graduate and undergraduate certificates are offered for enrolled UTA students as well as for non-degree seeking students wanting a standalone certificate.
- Learn how to identify market needs and develop products or services to fill that need.
- Learn how to construct a business plan and practice “pitching” for funding.
- Learn of various types of funding available and other support that the entrepreneurial ecosystem provides for startups, including incubators and accelerators.
- Learn the management, leadership and team-building skills anyone who heads their own company needs to understand.
