ADVANCED ADMISSIONS PROGRAMS FOR UTA UNDERGRADUATES

In support of the educational career of our high achieving students, the College of Business offers two accelerated admission paths to UTA undergraduate students who meet certain requirements during their academic career. Students meeting these requirements will be eligible for unconditional admission to a participating Master’s program without the need to submit the traditional application for admission, pay an application fee, or submit a GMAT/GRE score.

FAST TRACK AND FACILITATED INFORMATION SESSION

The best way to learn if Fast Track or Facilitated Admission options are right for you is through an information session. Held both virtually and in-person each semester, these 30-minute sessions cover the specifics of each process to ensure you are prepared to make the decision that is right for you.

FAST TRACK ADMISSION

Fast Track Programs enable outstanding senior undergraduate Business students to satisfy degree requirements leading to select master's degrees in business while completing their undergraduate studies. In this program, undergraduate students may complete up to 9 hours of graduate coursework during their undergraduate career and apply these credits toward both an undergraduate and graduate degree, thus reducing the number of credits required to earn a Master’s degree.

Fast Track Scholarship

The Fast Track Scholarship provides up to $4,000 to selected students admitted to a College of Business Fast Track program who later enroll in a master's program. Selected students will receive $1,000 during the last long semester of their senior year while enrolled in the Fast Track graduate courses. The remaining $3,000 is funded the first, second, and third long semester of full time enrollment as a fully admitted graduate business student.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Admitted to a Fast Track program
• Apply in ScholarShop prior to the Fast Track semester
• Nine graduate credit hour enrollment each sequential long semester
• Maintain good academic standing

FACILITATED ADMISSION

Facilitated Admission allows outstanding graduates of UT Arlington to gain admission to a Master’s degree program based on their academic performance during their undergraduate career. Students who believe they qualify for facilitated admission should contact the Office of Graduate Business Services during their final undergraduate semester to verify eligibility and request an application.

Facilitated Admission Scholarship

The Facilitated Admission Scholarship provides up to $2,000 to selected students enrolled in a College of Business master's program via Facilitated Admission. $1,000 of the scholarship is funded in the first long semester of enrollment and the remainder in the second long semester of full time enrollment.
