Free Research Workshop: NSF's Broader Impacts Criterion
Are you writing a National Science Foundation grant (or plan to write one in the future) and would like a deeper understanding of NSF’s Broader Impacts (BI) criterion? Would you like tips and strategies for addressing the BI criterion in more compelling (and, hopefully, more fundable) ways?
The UTA Office of Grants and Contracts Services and the College of Education's STEM Education Research Collaboratorium and Resource Centerare co-sponsoring an event to help researchers learn more about a popular NSF grant.
This session will help you make sense of the BI criterion and empower current and future PIs to conceptualize, develop, implement, and evaluate BI activities. Learn about the history of the BI criterion, strategies to leverage existing resources and establish robust partnerships as part of fundable BI plans, successful projects involving UTA faculty, and potential BI partners at UTA and beyond.
Lunch will be provided to those who RSVP by Sept. 2.
