Project R.E.A.D.Y. debuts all across the DFW news outlets
The new grant is shining a light on the College of Education.
Project R.E.A.D.Y. has become the star of the show with being picked up by major news outlets across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Since receiving over $1.25 million in a grant, NBC 5 and Spectrum News has highlighted Project P.R.E.A.D.Y. in their on-air evening news segments. The Dallas Morning News and The Dallas Express has spread the word through their articles that have been posted on their digital sites.
Dr. Ambra Green and Dr. John Romig, who are headlining this program, have talked with several news outlets. They are both excited about this grant and teaching the next generation of teachers. Project READY is a federally funded program that pays for nearly 100% of tuition and fees for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing initial certification in special education.
