Christopher Crayton’s sculpture on view at Rockport Art Center

Manbird, the sculpture by a BFA undergraduate student Christopher Crayton who majors in clay, had been on exhibit in the Rising Eyes of Texas at the Rockport Arts Center in Texas.

Rising Eyes of Texas is a yearly collegiate juried exhibition showcasing paintings, sculptures, video art, prints, and more by select Texas undergraduate and graduate visual arts students

Professor Nicholas Wood said: “One important aspect of Christopher being selected for this state-wide exhibit competition is that he was one of only 29 artists from 17 Texas universities chosen for the exhibit.”
