Congratulations to History doctoral student Albert Nungaray for the role he has played in righting historical wrongs. Albert wrote the text for Texas House Concurrent Resolution 62, which designates the second week of October Indigenous Peoples’ Week for a period of ten years. Now signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott, we are proud to say that the future Dr. Nungaray is part of what makes UTA the places #WhereHistoryIsMade. Congratulations, Albert!
