Meet Ofelia Pastora Rodriguez

Ofelia Pastora Rodriguez, BA Anthropology, 2020,

Currently working for SWCA Environmental Consultants as a cultural resource intern.

Quote: When I was a UTA Anthropology student, I served as an anthropology student ambassador, reaching transfer and new students, and worked as the Anthropology Club's first creative director, helping to rebrand the club with the rest of the amazing officers to bring more engagement between students and professors during a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. Since graduating I have worked on projects processing Caddo materials from the Archaic period, monitoring and excavating, and tribal coordination beyond Texas. I'd like to continue working in Texas, or the Southwest in general, focusing on diet recreation/health impacts long term during the end of the Archaic period, just before the agricultural revolution. If anyone wants to talk about cultural food, I'm your pal.
