February 12, 4pm-6pm - Faculty & Community Partner Networking Event

Join the Center for Service Learning on February 12th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm for a fun social and networking event! This is an opportunity to build relationships with service-learning faculty and community agencies, share ideas, learn about programs and initiatives, ask questions, or catch up. Open to UTA Faculty/Staff and Community Nonprofit Agencies.

February 25, 12pm-1pm | NFI: Pathways to Teaching Awards

Join us for a conversation about how teaching excellence is recognized across the institution and how teaching awards relate to the broader expectations of faculty work. The session will provide an overview of available awards, outline documentation and timing considerations, and include insights from a faculty panelist who will share their experience navigating the process. A light lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join us February 25th from 12:00 to 1:00 pm for an interactive workshop Low-Lift, High-Impact AI Tools for Teaching for Faculty: Facilitated by Dr. Bonnie Laster and Dr. Shelley Wigley exploring how AI can transform teaching into powerful experiential learning opportunities. UTA instructors will share how they’ve successfully integrated AI tools into their classrooms—creating hands-on, real-world experiences that engage students and enhance learning outcomes.

Please join The Office of Research & Innovation as we host Lucy Deckard with Academic Research for a hybrid information session on the NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER). The session will be offered in-person as well as on Teams.
