February 12, 4pm-6pm - Faculty & Community Partner Networking Event

Join the Center for Service Learning on February 12th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm for a fun social and networking event! This is an opportunity to build relationships with service-learning faculty and community agencies, share ideas, learn about programs and initiatives, ask questions, or catch up. Open to UTA Faculty/Staff and Community Nonprofit Agencies.

CRTLE Technology Test Kitchen

February 19, 1pm-2pm - CRTLE Technology Test Kitchen

Step into our studio‑style Test Kitchen for a supportive, hands‑on environment where faculty can quickly experiment with creating polished explainer videos and mini‑podcasts using Adobe Express and Adobe Podcast through simple, repeatable workflows. Ideal for making complex ideas more visual, audible, and accessible, this flexible session welcomes drop‑ins or full‑time participation as we get creative with teaching as an Adobe Creative Campus.

Join us February 25th from 12:00 to 1:00 pm for an interactive workshop Low-Lift, High-Impact AI Tools for Teaching for Faculty: Facilitated by Dr. Bonnie Laster and Dr. Shelley Wigley exploring how AI can transform teaching into powerful experiential learning opportunities. UTA instructors will share how they’ve successfully integrated AI tools into their classrooms—creating hands-on, real-world experiences that engage students and enhance learning outcomes.

CRTLE and OIT Technology Test Kitchen | January 22 in Trinity Hall 112 and 105 @1pm

This session introduces faculty to multimodal syllabus design using Adobe Express, offering tools and approaches to visually highlight key information, enhance clarity, and support diverse learners. You’ll experiment with templates, explore best practices for visual communication in teaching materials, and walk away with a refreshed syllabus ready to energize your students from day one.
