A Maverick Homecoming
Celebrate UTA’s Homecoming with events all week
Homecoming Week 2023 at The University of Texas at Arlington begins Monday, Nov. 6, and runs through Nov. 12.
Blue, orange and white will adorn campus all week. It’s a chance to showcase Maverick spirit and support UTA’s athletic teams. Among the highlights are:
- Join in on the fun and compete to win the ultimate prize of Homecoming Chili Cook-Off champion. The cook-off is open to all UTA students, faculty, staff and alumni groups. The Chili Cook-Off will be on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at noon in the University Center.
- The Homecoming Street Festival will take place on Friday, Nov. 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Head over to Spaniolo Drive to enjoy a night of delicious food and fun-filled activities for all.
- UTA will welcome Ty Dolla $ign and Waka Flaka Flame at this year’s Homecoming Bash. The concert will be held in Brazos Park at 8 p.m. on Nov. 10. Tickets are free for students, faculty and staff and $15 for alumni and community members.
- Head to College Park Center to watch the UTA women’s and men’s basketball teams. The Lady Mavs will play against the Lamar Cardinals on Friday, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m. The Mavericks will host the UT Tyler Patriots on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 5 p.m. Buy your tickets here.
