Homecoming Week 2023 at The University of Texas at Arlington begins Monday, Nov. 6, and runs through Nov. 12.


Homecoming

Blue, orange and white will adorn campus all week. It’s a chance to showcase Maverick spirit and support UTA’s athletic teams. Among the highlights are:

  • Join in on the fun and compete to win the ultimate prize of Homecoming Chili Cook-Off champion. The cook-off is open to all UTA students, faculty, staff and alumni groups. The Chili Cook-Off will be on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at noon in the University Center.
  • The Homecoming Street Festival will take place on Friday, Nov. 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Head over to Spaniolo Drive to enjoy a night of delicious food and fun-filled activities for all.
  • UTA will welcome Ty Dolla $ign and Waka Flaka Flame at this year’s Homecoming Bash. The concert will be held in Brazos Park at 8 p.m. on Nov. 10. Tickets are free for students, faculty and staff and $15 for alumni and community members.
  • Head to College Park Center to watch the UTA women’s and men’s basketball teams. The Lady Mavs will play against the Lamar Cardinals on Friday, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m. The Mavericks will host the UT Tyler Patriots on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 5 p.m. Buy your tickets here.
