Engineering Career Center Opens

The Kelcy Warren Career Experience Center opened in Nedderman Hall in fall 2025 to provide support and resources for students seeking their first engineering job after graduation. The new office has space to host both workshops and employer interviews.

“Engineering is such a niche occupation, in terms of what employers are looking for in new hires, so it’s important to ensure that our students are well-equipped when they graduate,” says Amanda Burkink, a career development specialist. “We want to instill career-readiness as early as possible so students feel confident, ready, and prepared to have professional interactions after they graduate.”
