Housing designed by Mavericks
Groundbreaking is set for today for an affordable housing community designed by UTA students, NBC 5 reports. The community, meant for those 55 and up, will be used as a blueprint for other affordable housing developments in North Texas.
Protecting Wildlife
According to a study co-authored by Luke Frishkoff, UTA assistant professor of biology, protecting large areas of land from human activity can help slow wildlife loss, Smithsonian, Earth.com and the American Association for the Advancement of Science report.
