Housing designed by Mavericks
Groundbreaking is set for today for an affordable housing community designed by UTA students, NBC 5 reports. The community, meant for those 55 and up, will be used as a blueprint for other affordable housing developments in North Texas.
According to a study co-authored by Luke Frishkoff, UTA assistant professor of biology, protecting large areas of land from human activity can help slow wildlife loss, Smithsonian, Earth.com and the American Association for the Advancement of Science report.
Actors on Strike
In an article for The Conversation, UTA Associate Professor of sociology David Arditi commented on how residuals became a sticking point for SAG-AFTRA actors on strike.
