Student Commuter Parking Zones Return Fall 2026
Thursday, August 13, 2026
As students return to campus for the Fall semester, Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) will reinstate Student Commuter Zones to help balance parking demand and improve access to commuter parking across campus.
Student commuter parking is divided into West, East, and South Commuter Zones. During the zone-restriction period, students should park in the zone associated with their permit Monday through Friday from 7 A.M. to 1 P.M. After 1 P.M., commuter permit holders may park in any student commuter lot, providing greater flexibility for afternoon and evening classes. The 2026–2027 Student Commuter Zones map identifies each zone and the parking areas available to student permit holders.
Zone Parking Schedule:
- 7:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.: Student commuter permit holders may only park in their assigned zone.
- 1:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.: All student commuter permits are valid in any zone.
- 7:00 P.M. – 7:00 A.M.: All permits are valid in any zone.
