Internship Exploration with Harish Lakkam
Raghavendra Harish Lakkam, a recent Masters of Business Administration graduate, was an intern with Cohn Reznick LLP as their Audit Intern.
Raghavendra, who goes by Harish, searched for opportunities through the UTA Handshake portal that would help him gain practical knowledge. “Being an international student, the internship helps as a path to real-world experience.”

Harish enjoyed the learning process and how Cohn Reznick organized their systems. “I learned about the client experiences in audit and accounting world. On the other side, I gained knowledge in accounting and audit software and the work models we use.”
Focused and determined, Harish was able to secure a full time offer before graduating in Spring 2023.

“I worked hard and learned quickly which helped me in converting the internship to a full-time opportunity and I will be joining the company as an Audit Associate. It also helped me to focus more on CPA Certification.”
