Dean Dombroski recently thanked the TCBA leadership by saying, “The banking program is strategically important to the College, and I am confident that we have the right people and leadership in place to ensure its success. I see no reason why this program cannot become one of the premier banking programs in the United States, and your support is instrumental in helping make that vision a reality.”
This significant contribution represents more than just financial support, it’s a powerful investment in the lives and futures of our students. The new endowed scholarship will provide critical funding for deserving students pursuing careers in banking and financial services, empowering them to focus on their studies and professional growth without the burden of financial barriers.
Over the years, the Tarrant County Bankers Association has been a valued partner to UTA, consistently supporting initiatives that align with our mission to provide accessible, high-quality education. Their increased commitment to this new program underscores their visionary leadership in building a strong pipeline of skilled professionals for the banking industry.
"We are incredibly grateful for the Tarrant County Bankers Association’s continued partnership," said Molly Bresnahan, Director of Development for the College of Business. "Their continued generosity is creating real opportunities for our students and strengthening the bridge between academic learning and industry readiness."
The Certificate in Banking Program at UTA is designed to equip students with the knowledge, tools, and hands-on experience needed to thrive in the dynamic banking sector. With the backing of this endowed scholarship, students from diverse backgrounds will have greater access to this specialized training, helping to shape the next generation of banking professionals.
We thank the Tarrant County Bankers Association not only for their financial support but also for their unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives. Their generosity is an inspiration, and a reminder of what can be achieved when industry leaders and educational institutions work together toward a common goal.
On behalf of our students, faculty, and the entire UTA community—thank you
