The cast and production team for the November staged reading of the musical, Miss You Like Hell, earned honors from the American College Theatre Festival (formerly associated with the Kennedy Center). The show was directed by guest artist and DFW director and performer, Amanda Reyes, with BFA Musical Theatre students and faculty performing and producing. The entire cast was awarded an accommodation in Excellence in Ensemble Performance, with the folowing additional commendations:

Garcia will compete at the ACTF regional festival in Abilene, TX this spring.

 

The show, which was a fundraiser, donated funds to Proyecto Inmigrante and will also contribute to the Musical Theatre students' biennal New York City trip. Learn more about this production here.
