SSW Significant Rankings and Achievements for 2018 – Year in Review

The UTA School of Social Work had a phenomenal year receiving more than 15 top national and state academic rankings, adding 14 new faculty members, and conducting more than $7 million in funded grants, fellowships, scholarships and other sources for innovative interdisciplinary research.

Faculty, students, alumni and staff received national and international honors and awards this year for their work and achievements in social work. 

Our reputation for being a “Research Powerhouse” dedicated to improving the health and the human condition and developing partnerships for a just society is helping make the UTA School of Social Work a recognized leader in Social Work education.
