POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCK PROGRAM
The EH&S Office provides Powered Industrial Truck (forklift) Training for UTA employees whose job description requires that they operate these vehicles.

It is an OSHA and a UTA requirement that an evaluation of each powered industrial truck operator's performance shall be conducted at least once every three (3) years. Before attending the practical training, employees must be a valid authorized driver of university vehicles (have a current acceptable MVR check and completion of Defensive Driving Awareness course) and also have successfully completed the online PIT training course.
All forklift practical training is now being scheduled through an online booking site. Please use the following link to view available training dates and times and reserve an individual appointment.
