Respiratory Protection Program

This program provides guidance for the selection, medical evaluation, use training, and fit testing of respiratory protective devices. The management of the Respiratory Protection Program is under the direction of the Director of Environmental Health & Safety. Using recognized methods, the EH&S Office will evaluate job sites and plans for hazards, and recommend the appropriate respiratory protective equipment to provide protection for the task being performed. Medical surveillance and training will be coordinated for affected employees through the EH&S Office.
