Mexican-American Studies

The Center for Mexican-American Studies (CMAS) oversees the academic minor in Mexican American & Latina/o Studies and promotes research and the recruitment, retention, and professional development of UTA faculty. The Center serves as a bridge between UTA and the Latino community in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Intercultural Student Engagement Center

The Intercultural Student Engagement Center is a catalyst for inclusive and equitable practices through intentional discussions, facilitation and student development.

Student Organizations

MavOrgs is the hub for all student organizations at the University of Texas at Arlington. You can find the following graduate student organizations:

The Writing Center

The Writing Center collaborates with faculty to ensure that they remain current on the techniques, skills, and strategies students learn in the classroom in order to facilitate assignment comprehension, expectations, and objectives. The Center offers support through free one-on-one tutoring sessions, specialized in-class and general center workshops, all with highly trained, competent writing consultants.

UTA Graduate School

The Graduate School at The University of Texas at Arlington develops a student's potential for high-impact research, scholarship, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and professional advancement through guided study and practice in more than 125 doctoral and master’s degree tracks and 49 graduate certificate programs.

UTA Libraries

The University of Texas at Arlington Libraries is a model 21st century urban academic library dedicated to elevating the research and scholarship of the UTA community. UTA Libraries have a team of knowledge librarians who can support student research needs.
