Marion Ball, professor of nursing in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation and executive director of the Multi-Interprofessional Center for Health Informatics, was honored with the John P. Glaser Health Informatics Innovator Award.

Linah Mohammad

Top Honor in Journalism

In 2012, Linah Mohammad immigrated to Arlington from Jordan with a goal she’d had since eighth grade in mind: journalism. Now, the 2017 graduate with a degree in journalism and broadcasting can call herself a finalist for the prestigious Pulitzer Prize.


Unlocking the Universe

The planetarium at The University of Texas at Arlington has received a $50,000 gift from Women Inspiring Philanthropy (WIP), a community of women seeking to transform the city of Arlington through high-impact giving.
