This webinar is for the advanced commercial or government contractor who is currently, or planning to, prepare a federal technical proposal for Construction or Service Contract. (Normally Commodity Contracts do not require a Technical Proposal but it is possible). Highlights of the federal government technical proposal assembly are discussed in a webinar setting. Contractors must be able to show past performance and financial capability.

We discuss in detail what clients need to know to assemble and prepare a Federal Government Technical Proposal.

Webinar on how to do business in the government marketplace. (Federal, State, and Local governments). Created for corporations who can show past performance and have financial capability. It is a refresher course for those that are seasoned government contracting personnel.

We discuss the issues of government contracting (i.e., Federal, State, and local) so the potential contractor can decide what they need to do next to start, or continue, their government contracting program with confidence. Some of the subjects are: System for Award Management (SAM), The Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS), contracting rules, regulations & law, IFB vs. RFP, Registration & Certifications, GSA, SBIR/STTR, SBA, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

The class will cover the descriptive and actionable language that will make your capability statement stand out. Participants will also learn which elements to include on the capability statement- such as company data, core competencies, capacity, past performance and past experience, and cybersecurity.

Description: By signing a Department of Defense (DoD) contract, the contractor (prime/sub) agrees to comply with the terms of the contract and all requirements of the DFARS Clause 252.204-7012. The deadline for compliance was Dec 31, 2017. The regulations apply to any company doing business with DoD and its prime contractors. The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Accreditation Board (CMMC-AB) will have auditors who will determine if the contractor is in compliance and issue a certification level for future contract awards.

This workshop will help contractors comply with the DFARS 252-204-7012, and NIST SP 800-171 v2. The workshop includes Self-Assessment, POAMS, System Security Plan, Incident Response Plan and Reporting and Subcontractor Flow Down Requirements. We will also discuss the impending CMMC requirements and potential audit elements.
