Peer Educators

Become a Peer Educator

Mavericks who are passionate about sexual and relationship violence prevention and specifically, transforming UTA’s campus climate to climate of consent and healthy relationships, are encouraged to apply to become a member of our team. RVSP Peer Educators are paid and work part time hours for the program. Some of the job duties include: facilitating educational outreaches, host event programming, create campus campaigns, team building activities, and most importantly, supporting victims and/or survivors of sexual violence. Students are highly encouraged to attend RVSP events to get to know current team members and RVSP staff, follow us on social media, and apply once they are ready to join the team!

Mission Statement

RVSP Peer Advocates is a team of undergraduate students who support a campus free of relationship and sexual violence by providing inclusive, intersectional, and social justice oriented prevention education to combat sexual violence against all human beings. RVSP Peer Advocates are committed to creating and advocating for a campus free of sexual and relationship violence.
