Judicial Branch

The Judicial Branch is responsible for settling disputes between the other branches of the Student Government, managing the Registered Student Organization Allocation Fund, and coordinating Campus Elections.

About us

Led by the Chief Justice, the Judicial Branch consists of the Supreme Court, who serve as the hearing panel for any issues that may arise from the Program Assistance Fund and Campus Elections, and clerks, who help assist the Supreme Court as needed. The Judicial Branch meets every other Monday at 3pm.

Student Organization Funding Allocation

Apply for a grant from Student Government to fund events, programs, travel, and operations. You must be listed as either the Primary Contact or Treasurer in MavEngage to access the application. Overview

Leadership

Chief Justice: Serves as the representative leader of the Judicial Branch, managing the RSO Allocation Fund, and chairing all Supreme Court meetings.

Clerks

Work directly with the Supreme Court to assist in the administration of Campus Elections and the facilitation of the RSO Allocation Fund. They are heavily involved in the behind the scenes work of Student Government.

 

Election Supervisory Board

Made up of 3 (or more) members appointed by the Supreme Court. The ESB plans and organizes election events, promotes campus elections, and hosts candidate workshops.

Supreme Court

Made up of 7 justices, including the Chief Justice, who serve as the hearing panel for student organizations requesting funding through the RSO Allocation Fund, disputes in the other two branches of Student Government, and any election code violations during Campus Elections.
