Program Overview
UTA's data science degree program expands students’ marketable skills and prepares them to enter a rapidly growing job field, meeting the growing need for data science professionals in STEM, health-related, business and other fields.
UTA’s Master of Science degree in Data Science helps meet the growing need for application-oriented engineers who can use data science tools and techniques to solve complex problems in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and energy. This degree has both an on-campus and an online option.

UTA’s Central Library FabLab boasts 8,000-square-feet of makerspace featuring 3D printers, laser cutters, screen printers, kilns, and much more for learners from any discipline or experience level. In addition to the FabLab, the College of Engineering boasts four makerspaces with a variety of equipment available to students who wish to create prototypes or complete projects.
