Industry Partnership Program (IPP)

Mission

To create a community of UTA and industry partners to collaborate on issues of education, research, and the next generation of industry-ready engineers.

Vision

To invest in the quality of UTA's graduates to foster local talent and future employees in civil engineering/construction.

Companies are invited to invest in UTA's Civil Engineering students, to foster local engineering talent and future employees, by choosing a Partnership Level below (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond). Corresponding tangible benefits associated with each level are also shown in the table. All levels come with the intangible satisfaction of helping prepared the next generation of industry-ready engineers!

  • Recognized sponsor for major department events
  • Potential for space naming
  • Choose one:
    • $5,000 annual research/test fee credit and discussion of research collaboration opportunities
    • Custom benefit
Platinum $10,000

Benefits for gold, plus:
  • Student tech talk (2/semester)
  • Recognized sponsor for minor department events
  • Banner on CE Dept. floor
  • Senior design project sponsor OR $2,500 research/test fee credit
Gold $5,000
Annually
Benefits for silver, plus:
  • Student tech talk (1/semester)
  • Choose one of the following or an additional benefit from silver:
    • Booth space at CE or CM career fairs (1 each in fall and spring, $1100 value total)
    • Employees attend 6-hour FAA's Part 107 Exam Prep Workshop for Drone Pilot License
Silver $2,500
Annually
Benefits for bronze, plus:
  • Student tech talk (one)
  • Choose one:
    • Employees (up to 5) attend 75-hour FE review course free ($225 value per person)
    • Employees attend professional development workshops (1-hour each, $100 value each, 10 spots)

  • Job opportunities posted on our student portals (undergraduate and graduate)
  • Invitation to annual networking event with top students
  • Mention on web page and in CE Dept. e-newsletter

* Recommended for public agency without donation ability

Membership also opens to consulting firms, state and local governments, non-profits (e.g., American Portland Cement Association)
