Advanced Standing Graduate Programs
Advanced Standing Programs
These programs are for students who want to obtain bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the same field of study.
Requirements
Admission requires completing the bachelor’s degree in your field of study with a GPA of at least 3.0. An application for admission must be submitted along with other requirements for the program, which could include essays, portfolios, test scores, or letters of recommendation. During your last year as an undergraduate, contact the graduate advisor for your master’s program. They can help you submit the required application materials and advise you on the reduced coursework required for your master’s degree.
Don’t Miss Out!
The sooner you let your graduate advisor know you’re considering a fast track program, the better. Developing degree plans that fulfill program requirements and align with your undergraduate experience takes time, so consulting a graduate advisor as early as your junior year as an undergraduate will help set you up for success.
