Model UN

The purpose of this organization is to encourage student members to develop an appreciation of international relations and current events, as well as cultivate passion for connectedness and collaboration among all cultures. Our organization serves as a hub for students interested in international relations. We hope to celebrate differences and similarities in backgrounds and worldviews while making a positive impact on the community at large.

Why Join MUN?

Model United Nations (MUN) is a student organization which participates in MUN conferences across the country which are simulations of the United Nations. Students develop their problem solving, public speaking, knowledge and professional skills through debate and team work. Our organization aims to provide students with valuable experience and skills which will allow them to become world leaders and global citizens. Aside from attending national MUN conferences, we hold several social, fundraising and community service events in order to build a stronger MUN community at UT Arlington.
