Register for Maverick Experience Preview Day

UT Arlington's Maverick Experience programs give you the opportunity to get a close-up look at what UT Arlington has to offer, and to get answers to your questions about all aspects of the University.

We offer three different kinds of Maverick Experience events to help you get the information you need: Maverick Experience Saturdays, Maverick Experience Mondays, and Maverick Experience Transfer Nights.

All of our Maverick Experience events provide general information about admissions criteria, financial aid and scholarship informations, and academic information.

Maverick Experience Saturdays

Maverick Experience Saturday programs are held from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on selected Saturdays. You can attend as a high school student or a transfer student and the event includes presentations on admission, financial aid, scholarships, and an overview of each academic college. You can also take a campus tour and view residence halls and apartments. You will also meet new people at our Academic and Student Life Fair as you learn about student life and meet representatives from the academic departments. You'll also be able to apply for admission, turn in documents, check status, and more at our Satellite Admissions Office.

Lunch is provided by UTA for you and your guests.

Maverick Experience Mondays

Maverick Experience Monday programs are held from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on selected Mondays. You can attend as a high school student or a transfer student and the event includes presentations on admission, financial aid, scholarships, and an overview of each academic college. You can also take a campus tour and view residence halls and apartments. You will also be able to meet new people at our Academic and Student Life Fair as you learn about student life and meet representatives from the academic departments. Because all UTA offices work regular hours on Maverick Experience Mondays you'll also be able to apply for admission, turn in documents, check status, and more at our Prospective Student Center or any of our other administrative offices.

A copy of the November 21 Agenda is available online.

Maverick Experience Transfer Nights

Maverick Experience Transfer Night programs are held from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. This event is just for transfer students and includes a dinner with presentations on admission, financial aid, and scholarships. Parking Information

Signs will be posted on the North and South ends of Cooper Street to direct you to College Park District Garage, which consists of three garages: Park North, Park Central, and Park South. The parking garages are located on Center St.

You may park in any spot in the garages marked for students, faculty, or staff. Please do not park in the spots marked for retail or the First Baptist Church.

In addition to the College Park District Garages, Maverick Experience visitors may park in any open student lot. These lots are numbered and marked with blue signs. Please do not park in the apartment complex parking lots across the street from the University Center. The University does not own that lot and your vehicle may be towed.

You can view a parking map of campus online at www.uta.edu/maps.

Check-in Information

Check-in will be in the E.H. Hereford University Center.

School/Community Groups

Maverick Experience is not designed to accomodate school or community groups. If students will attend together, each student needs to register individually for the event. If you are interested in visiting UT Arlington with your school or community group, please view our Group Visit options.
