Staff Engagement Committee
The Staff Engagement Committee fosters a positive work environment and sense of community among Student Affairs staff. The committee members host programs and events to welcome new staff, build and maintain staff relationships, and recognize the work being done in Student Affairs. The committee hosts activities such as breakfast or lunches on and off campus, happy hours, campus activities, services opportunities, and friendly competitions (some events may be spontaneous). The committee also plans the new divisional staff welcome breakfast and SA end of the year awards luncheon

Staff Development Committee
The Staff Development committee is for the Division of Student Affairs working as a community of professionals committed to a lifelong learning and the shared ownership of organizational excellence. The team's mission is to enhance the competencies of professionals in Student Affairs by facilitating purposeful, innovative, and engaging activities that educate, train, and develop. The committee coordinates divisional retreats, monthly divisional meetings, employee engagement incentive program, and other professional development topics throughout the year. This committee may also work with the Staff Engagement Committee to provide divisional tours for new employees.

Student Employee Engagement Committee
The goal of the Student Employee Engagement Committee is for student employees to be welcomed, recognized, and supported as employees in the Division of Student Affairs. The team's primary tasks are 1) to coordinate semi-annual orientation sessions to welcome students to the division, 2) to direct supervisors to existing campus workshops and trainings to utilize with student employees, and 3) to recognize student contributions to the division. The committee will work collaboratively with the Career Services Student Employment program as needed.

Assessment Team
The Assessment Team aligns with the Student Affairs Central Office's mission to integrate assessment into the division's culture and intentional practice. The cohort serves as a valuable resource and support mechanism, employing three key components: (1) Empowering practitioners by providing essential resources, training, and collaborative work opportunities that allow individuals to enhance their assessment skills and focus on immediate assessment tasks, (2) Enhancing unit-level assessment by offering personalized support and coaching to individual units, enabling them to refine and improve their assessment plans and methodologies and by ensuring alignment with departmental goals and national standards, we help all programs and services achieve excellence and overall effectiveness, and (3) Facilitating review and feedback for departmental assessment plans by developing a constructive feedback loop for departmental assessment results. This fosters continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making within the division.
