Find Your Maverick Factor!
Univision and UTA have partnered to provide scholarship support to determined and resilient first-year students. As the largest public 4-year university in Texas to be labeled a Hispanic Serving Institution, UTA is a university of distinction for Hispanic students. This scholarship will not only benefit two first-year students but inspire them to make an impact in their community and advance the value of a college education.
Combined Award Value
The Univision Tu Futuro Tu Comunidad Scholarship is valued at $7,500 per academic year for up to four years, and UTA will award grants and scholarships to increase the total value of the recipients' financial aid package. Two first-year students will be selected and awarded this scholarship for fall.
Application Requirements
Applicants must complete the admission application to the University of Texas at Arlington and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and be admitted to UTA by February 15, 2026.
